Bob Bowlby, jazz saxophonist/multi woodwind player, is both a graduate of and former faculty member at Berklee College of Music Graduate. His credits include touring with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Artie Shaw Orchestra, Buddy Rich Band, Frank Sinatra, Ben Vereen, Rita Moreno, Carol Channing, Avenue Q, Fosse, and Start Wars In Concert. Bob has been a member of the Boston Pops since 1981.
Around Boston, Bob performs as a pit musician at Citi Wang Theater, Shubert Theater, Boston Opera House, Colonial Theater, and North Shore Theater in Beverly. He is a founding member of John Allmark Jazz Orchestra, and has performed with Dick Johnson Swing Shift and the Herb Pomeroy Jazz Orchestra.
