Stanislav‘s playing has often been described as “exquisite”, with “impeccable” intonation and an “unforgettable” tone. He was born in the Soviet Union, and has been playing violin since the age of three. He is a graduate of the Vitola Latvian National Conservatory, with graduate degrees the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. Stanislav has won first prizes at multiple local and international competitions, including the International Dvarionas Violin Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has performed with orchestras in the United States, Russia, Latvia, England, Germany, Austria, and Israel; he has also performed with, and coached, multiple chamber ensembles. At Longy, he was the only violinist selected to participate in the Chamber Music workshop with Isaac Stern at Carnegie Hall. When performing, Stanislav strives to touch people‘s soul with the music.
