Founded in 1990 by Jan Pfeiffer and Frances Rios, the Lavazza Chamber Ensemble performs a series of free concerts each season at St. Paul's Church in Brookline. Repertoire ranges from string quartets and trios to piano trios, quartets, and quintets. Funded entirely by sponsorships and donations, the ensemble was recently awarded a grant from the Boch Family Foundation.
