Carroll Cadden—percussion, timpani, & Scottish pipe-band snare drum—has been an orchestral & concert percussionist & timpanist, & Scottish pipe-band snare drummer for almost 30 years. A 1987 percussion/timpani performance/pedagogy major from the University of Southern Mississippi, Carroll is comfortable on timpani and all percussion instruments, including all melodic percussion.

Carroll has played with the University of Southern Mississippi Orchestra, the University of Southern Mississippi Wind Ensemble, the Mississippi Symphony, the Mobile (AL) Symphony, the Mobile Opera, the Meridian (MS) Symphony, the Pensacola (FL) Symphony, the Gulf Coast (MS) Symphony, the Gulf Coast (MS) Opera Theater, the University of Chicago Symphony, the Southwest Suburban (IL) Symphony, the Illinois Brass Band, the Boston College Symphony, the New Philharmonia Orchestra, the University of Chicago Pipe Band, the Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band, the Worcester Kiltie Pipe Band, the Tulach Ard Pipe Band, the Manchester Pipe Band, and the Stuart Highland Pipe Band.
